Dhaka to Bandarban: Direct non-stop buses are available from Dhaka to Bandarban which take about 8 to 10 hours. Renowned bus services like Saintmartin Paribahan and S.Alam offer daily services to Bandarban.

Chittagong to Bandarban: From Chittagong, you can take local buses that frequently ply this route. It usually takes 2 to 3 hours to reach Bandarban from Chittagong.

Bandarban to Thanchi: From Bandarban town, local bus and jeep services known as "Chander Gari" can be taken to Thanchi. These services generally commence early in the morning and it's advisable to reach early to secure a seat. The journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and passes through some scenic and hilly terrain.
