The nearest airport to Tiberias is Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. From there, you have several options to reach Tiberias:
- Rental Car: You can rent a car from the airport and drive to Tiberias. The drive usually takes around 2 hours via Route 6 and Route 65 or Route 77.
- Public Transportation: You can take a train from the Ben Gurion Airport train station to Haifa or Afula and then take a bus to Tiberias. This could be a lengthy trip, taking up to 4 hours, depending on connections.
- Shared Taxi (Sherut): Shared taxis are available from the airport directly to Tiberias. This is a convenient option though it may be more expensive than public transportation.
