The Tripura Sundari Temple, revered as Matabari, sits atop the hilly terrains of Udaipur in Tripura, India, an embodiment of goddess Parvati. This ancient temple, aged over 500 years, stands as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is considered the holiest Hindu shrines in this region. Legends articulate that Sati's right foot fell here during Lord Shiva's Dance of Destruction. Architecturally, the temple presents a typical Bengali-hut style structure with a conical dome.
