Best Time To Visit Ubud Art Market (Ubud) In 2026 - 2027

Visiting Ubud Art Market

The Ubud Art Market, locally known as 'Pasar Seni Ubud,' is a vibrant destination renowned for its wide array of handmade goods, textiles, and traditional crafts. If you're seeking an ideal time to explore this bustling market, plan your visit during the dry season, which spans from April to October. During this period, you're treated to warm, sunny days that are perfect for wandering through the market stalls. This is when Bali experiences the least amount of rainfall, ensuring that your shopping adventure won't be interrupted by sudden downpours. The market is open daily, usually starting from early morning until late in the evening, around 6:00 PM. To catch the best selection of merchandise, consider arriving early in the morning, as many locals and experienced travelers claim this is when the freshest products and best deals can be found.

Peak tourist season in Bali typically coincides with the global summer holidays, running from July to August, and then spikes again around the Christmas and New Year period. During these times, the Ubud Art Market becomes extraordinarily bustling, permeated with a diverse crowd of international tourists. While the atmosphere is undeniably electrifying, be prepared for higher prices and more crowded conditions. For a more relaxed shopping experience with the opportunity to engage with vendors and negotiate better deals, consider visiting Ubud Art Market outside these peak times. The months of April, May, and September are particularly favorable, offering a balanced climate with the added perk of a less crowded market environment.
