Best Time To Visit Usri Falls (Giridih) In 2026 - 2027
Best Time to Visit Usri Falls, Giridih
The best time to visit Usri Falls in Giridih, Jharkhand is during the months of October to March. This period marks the post-monsoon and winter season in the region, when the weather is most conducive for tourists. The heavy rains from June to September swell the river, making the falls a spectacular sight, but immediately after the monsoon, the flow remains steady and the surrounding greenery is lush and vibrant. Additionally, during these months, the climate is pleasant, with temperatures ranging from a comfortable 10°C to 25°C, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the falls without the discomfort of excessive heat or humidity.
Visitors are strongly advised to avoid the summer months, especially from April to June, when temperatures can soar above 40°C, making outings to the waterfall less enjoyable. Furthermore, during the monsoon, although the waterfall is at its fullest, the path can be slippery and dangerous, and the high water levels may restrict access to certain areas for safety reasons. Therefore, to fully appreciate Usri Falls and its surrounding landscapes, plan your visit in the cooler, drier months, when the environment is most welcoming and the natural beauty of the falls can be experienced without any weather-related hindrances.
