Best Time To Visit Voderevu Beach (Ongole) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Voderevu Beach, Ongole

The ideal time to visit Voderevu Beach in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh is during the cooler, drier months from October to March. During this period, the weather remains pleasant with minimal rainfall, which makes it perfect for tourists to enjoy the sun-soaked beach, indulge in water sports, or take a relaxing stroll along the coastline. The daytime temperatures hover around 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), which is comfortable for outdoor activities and exploring the nearby attractions without the discomfort of the intense heat that the summer months bring.

Visitors should avoid the summer months from April to June as the temperatures soar to highs of 35°C to 40°C (95°F to 104°F), which can be quite oppressive, especially for those not accustomed to the tropical climate of South India. The monsoon season, from July to September, is also not recommended due to heavy rainfall and strong winds that can make beach activities less enjoyable and potentially unsafe. An additional advantage of visiting during the recommended period is that it coincides with several local festivals which provide an insight into the rich culture and traditions of the region.
