The picturesque White Beach is located on the small tropical island of Boracay in the Philippines. Here is how you can reach this stunning destination:
From Manila: The most common way to get to Boracay is to fly from Manila to Caticlan Airport (also known as Godofredo P. Ramos Airport). Several airlines operate daily flights to Caticlan, including Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia.
From Other Locations: Alternatively, you can fly to Kalibo International Airport, which sometimes offers more international flight options. From Kalibo, it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by land to reach Caticlan jetty port.
If you prefer to travel by sea, you can take a ferry to Caticlan. 2GO Travel and other ferry services have routes from Manila and other islands to Caticlan or nearby ports.
Upon arrival at either Caticlan or Kalibo airport, you will need to take a short trip to Caticlan Jetty Port:
Once at the jetty port, you will take a boat to Boracay. There are regular boat services from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay's Cagban Port or Tambisaan Port depending on the weather.
From Boracay's port, you can take a tricycle, e-trike, or a shuttle offered by your hotel to White Beach. The tricycles are available at the port, and the ride to White Beach typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
Note: Be sure to keep some cash on hand to pay for environmental and terminal fees at Caticlan Jetty Port as well as boat fees for the transfer to Boracay Island.
