Crocodile Island Boracay Tourism

Crocodile Island is a popular snorkeling and diving spot near Boracay, a small island in the Philippines famous for its stunning white beaches and vibrant nightlife. Despite its name, there are no crocodiles on the island. It is named so because from a distance, its shape resembles the head of a crocodile. The waters surrounding Crocodile Island are teeming with marine life, offering a kaleidoscope of corals, tropical fish, and occasional sea snakes, making it an underwater paradise for divers and snorkelers. The colorful aquatic scenery also makes this tiny island one of the best places for underwater photography. Visitors can join organized tours from Boracay that include boat trips to the island. These are typically half-day excursions that may include lunch and equipment rentals. Because of strong currents in some areas, snorkelers and divers should be cautious and preferably visit with experienced guides. Besides water activities, the island’s unique rock formations and panoramic views of the surrounding sea make it a scenic spot for sightseeing.
