Best Time To Visit Willy's Rock (Boracay) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Willy's Rock, Boracay, Philippines

The ideal time to visit Willy's Rock in Boracay is during the dry season, which spans from November to May. This period is known as the Amihan season, characterized by moderate temperatures, little rainfall, and gentle winds from the northeast. Travelers can expect sunny days, with the temperature usually ranging from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius. The pleasant weather allows for uninterrupted beach activities and the chance to admire the iconic Willy's Rock against stunning sunset backdrops. Peak tourist season is between December and April, so if you're looking to avoid the crowds while still enjoying excellent weather conditions, planning your trip in November or May is advisable.

For those who are particularly interested in water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, or photography by the picturesque views of Willy's Rock, the dry months offer clearer waters and better visibility. However, it's important to note that Holy Week, usually in March or April, leads to a surge in local tourism due to the religious significance of Willy's Rock as a natural shrine. During this time, you can expect a large influx of visitors, which might be less ideal for those seeking solitude. Conversely, experiencing Boracay during this festive period can be quite enriching culturally, and the deeply spiritual atmosphere around Willy's Rock can add a unique dimension to your visit.
