I also took a leisurely pony ride along the Lidder River and visited the famous Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage.

This stunning hill station is located at an altitude of 2,740 meters and is surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains. The drive to Sonmarg was a thrilling experience as we passed through narrow roads, crossed roaring streams, and witnessed the beauty of the Thajiwas Glacier. I couldn't resist but take a pony ride up to the glacier, where I soaked in the ethereal beauty of the snow-covered landscape. Sonmarg is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts, offering activities like trekking, camping, and river rafting.

On my final day in Kashmir, as I bid adieu to this heavenly land, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude.
