MUST SEE PLACE
It is a memorial cum Museum of this great man. It showcases life size statues of great man in many ways. Life size statues are so well made that when I entered the 1st room I for a second felt that Kalam Sir was sitting in a chair in front of me. MUST SEE PLACE IN RAMESHWARAM Phone and other belongings strictly not allowed inside.

Must visit with childrens
He is Bharat Ratna, Does it need any introduction. Well here he is cremated and all his life memories are collected in photograph and given picture of his stature. No Camera's are allowed to make memories of the place. It's your camera(eye) which will catch the beauty of this place.

Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam (1931–2015), The 11th President of India (2002-2007), Great Sceintist National Memorial is a Memorial, in memory of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. It is located in his home town, Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India.Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam was born and brought up in Rameswaram and became a scientist and worked for DRDO and ISRO. While Delivering Speech on "Creating a Livable Planet Earth"at IIM Shillong, Meghalaya, HE collapsed and died. he was laid to rest at Pei Karumbu, Rameswaram on 30th July 2015.The Memorial was constructed by DRDO. There are paintings and life-sized sculptures that illustrate Kalam at different ages. Agni missile with a theme of "Unity in Diversity" is displayed at the forefront of the structure.Don't miss a chance, when you visit Rameswaram.

wonderful place
its maintained by central govt , hence well kept , beautified well , very well depiction of APJ life . amazingly well maintained . a place not to miss at all . no tickets for entry .

Lacks basic facilities.
Very nice place and a must visit but it lacks facilities. We reached in afternoon and were asked to remove footwear , it was scorching hot and to reach the building was an ordeal. No arrangement is made for Sun shed or Mat on the floor. Also no camera's are allowed. Which again is not correct in today's time
