Best Time To Visit Al Khor (Qatar) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Al Khor, Qatar

The ideal time to visit Al Khor, a serene coastal city in Qatar, is during the cooler months, which span from November to early April. During this period, the weather is pleasantly mild with average temperatures ranging from 17°C to 28°C. This provides a comfortable climate for exploring outdoor attractions such as Al Khor's famed Corniche, the Al Thakira natural reserve, and the city's numerous parks and beaches. Additionally, this is a perfect time for bird watching, as many migratory species visit the area, and for attending the annual Al Khor Fly-In event, where aviation enthusiasts gather.

Visitors looking to avoid the scorching heat should steer clear of the summer months, from May to September, when temperatures soar above 40°C. Humidity levels also escalate, which can be discomforting for outdoor activities. Those visiting during the cooler months should still remember that evenings can be quite chilly, and carrying a light jacket is advisable. Moreover, during the popular tourist season, booking accommodations in advance is recommended to secure the best options and deals in Al Khor.
