History of Asia Park Da Nang

Asia Park – Sun World Da Nang Wonders, commonly known as Asia Park, is located in the heart of the central city of Da Nang, Vietnam. The amusement park was developed by the Sun Group and designed by the renowned American company, WhiteWater West Industries. Its doors were officially opened to the public in January 2014, marking a significant stride in the enhancement of local tourism.

Since its inception, Asia Park has combined the quintessence of the unique cultural features of leading Asian countries with high-end entertainment services, creating a vibrant attraction for both domestic and international tourists. Asia Park has continually evolved, adding various rides and attractions to improve the visitor experience and cater to a wide range of audiences.

The park's design embraces cultural depictions from nine Asian countries, including Japan, South Korea, China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam, providing guests with a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Asian cultures. The focal point of the park is the Sun Wheel, which is one of the world's highest Ferris wheels, offering panoramic views of Da Nang city from a height of 115 meters.

The historical growth of tourism in Da Nang, and in particular the appeal of Asia Park, has been closely tied to the overall development of the city's infrastructure and rise as a beach resort destination. Da Nang's strategic location as a gateway to central Vietnam's cultural and natural sites, alongside its own city beaches, has propelled tourism growth.
