Bengal Safari Park Tourism

Bengal Safari Park, situated in the northern outskirts of Siliguri, West Bengal, India, is part of the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread over an area of 297 hectares, it was inaugurated in January 2016 and offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the rich flora and fauna of the region. This park is among the few places in India where visitors can enjoy a safari ride through a forested area and spot various animals in semi-wild environments. Animals like Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, Himalayan black bears, barking deer, and sambar deer, among others, can be seen here. The park is divided into different zones such as the Herbivore Safari, Tiger Safari, and Bear Safari, showcasing different species in their naturalistic habitats. The aviary is a delight for birdwatchers. Bengal Safari Park also includes facilities such as an interpretation center to educate visitors about wildlife, and a children's park for young visitors to enjoy.
