Best Time To Visit Bengal Safari Park (Siliguri) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Bengal Safari Park, Siliguri

One of the prime times to visit the Bengal Safari Park in Siliguri, West Bengal, is between the months of October and April. During this period, the weather conditions are most favorable as the region experiences fall, winter, and the onset of spring. The temperatures range from a pleasant 10°C to 25°C, ensuring a comfortable safari experience. The relatively cooler climate is ideal not just for the visitors but also for spotting a variety of animals who are more likely to be active and visible. Additionally, the lush greenery after the monsoon further enhances the beauty of the park, making it a perfect backdrop for wildlife viewing and photography.

However, if visitors are looking to witness specific animal behaviors or breeding seasons, it is advisable to check for any particular timings within this preferred window. The park is generally open throughout the year, but visiting during heavy monsoon months, roughly from June to September, might be challenging due to rain-induced muddiness and inconvenience in the safari trails. Moreover, the summer months, particularly May and June, can be incredibly hot and humid, making the excursion less enjoyable. During the recommended visiting season, visitors should consider early morning or late afternoon safaris for the best chances of animal sightings as these are the cooler parts of the day when animals are more active.
