The Big Buddha of Phuket is a revered landmark located atop Nakkerd Hill near Chalong. The gentle tinkling of bells and the fluttering of yellow Buddhist flags contribute to the calming atmosphere, with the option for visitors to purchase a tile to inscribe a message or a prayer before adding it to the collection. The Big Buddha project is funded by donations, which are used to maintain and develop the site.
