How To Reach Crocodile Island Boracay (Boracay) In 2026 - 2027

Welcome to Crocodile Island Boracay Travel Guide!

How to Reach Crocodile Island Boracay, Boracay, Philippines

Crocodile Island is a popular snorkeling and scuba diving spot situated approximately 15 minutes via boat from the main island of Boracay in the Philippines. Here’s your guide on how to reach this aquatic paradise for your next vacation.

Step 1: Arrival in Boracay

To start your journey, arrange to arrive in Boracay, which is accessible by two principal airports: Caticlan (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport) and Kalibo International Airport.

• Caticlan Airport is the closest airport to Boracay. From there, you can take a tricycle or a short walk to the jetty port, where boats ferry passengers to Boracay Island. The trip is roughly 15 minutes.
• If you land at Kalibo Airport, you have to take a 1.5-2 hour bus or van ride to Caticlan Jetty Port.

Step 2: Boat from Caticlan to Boracay

At Caticlan Jetty Port, buy a ticket for the boat ride to Boracay. Make sure to also pay the terminal and environmental fees. Once you arrive at Boracay, you will likely disembark at either Cagban Port or Tambisaan Port, depending on the weather.

Step 3: From Boracay to Crocodile Island

Crocodile Island is just off the coast of Boracay and can be visited through an island-hopping tour, which most hotels and local tour operators can arrange for you. Here’s how to do it:

• Book an island-hopping tour through your hotel or a local travel agent. Ensure that the itinerary includes Crocodile Island.
• Tours typically start in the morning and last half a day. You'll be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point.
• Tours can either be shared with other tourists or private, depending on your preference.
• The tour will take you to Crocodile Island where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or diving. The island gets its name from its crocodile-like shape, not because of the presence of crocodiles, so swimming is safe.
• Remember to bring sun protection, snorkeling gear if you have it (though it can usually be rented), and a waterproof camera to capture the vibrant marine life.

Tips:

• The best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April.
• Ensure that you book your tour in advance during peak season to secure your spot.
• Respect the marine life and coral reefs by not touching or stepping on them while snorkeling or diving.

Enjoy your travels to Crocodile Island, an underwater haven teeming with life and beauty just waiting to be discovered!
