Deolo Hill Tourism

Deolo Hill is one of the highest peaks in the Kalimpong region of West Bengal, India, and a prominent tourist attraction known for its picturesque landscapes and serene ambiance. The hill is situated to the northeast of the town of Kalimpong and towers at an altitude of approximately 1,704 meters above sea level. Deolo Hill provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys, including the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga to the west and the Relli and Teesta River valleys to the east. The summit of the hill is a vast expanse of lush green parkland, ideal for picnics and leisurely strolls. It is also home to the Deolo Tourist Lodge, which is run by the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation, offering accommodations with breathtaking views. Visitors can partake in activities like paragliding, horse riding, and trekking. The hill's ecosystem supports a variety of flora and fauna, contributing to its charm and making it a nature lover's paradise.
