Best Time To Visit Dragon Bridge (Cau Rong) (Da Nang) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Dragon Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam

Visiting the Dragon Bridge, or Cầu Rồng in Vietnamese, in Da Nang is an experience that combines modern engineering with cultural significance. To get the most out of your visit, the ideal time to see the bridge is during the late evening on weekends. Specifically, the bridge showcases a mesmerizing fire and water performance every Saturday and Sunday night at 9 PM. This is when the dragon statue, which spans the length of the bridge, breathes fire followed by a series of water spouts, creating an enthralling spectacle against the night sky. Therefore, visitors are highly recommended to schedule their visit around this time to witness this unique event.

Beyond the weekend shows, the best months to visit are generally from February to May. During these months, Da Nang enjoys a warm climate with less rainfall, making it conducive for travelers to explore the area comfortably. The weather is not too hot and humidity levels are moderate, which is perfect for enjoying outdoor activities and sightseeing. Moreover, the bridge is illuminated with colorful LED lights every night, creating a picture-perfect scene that is best viewed when the weather is clear. Visitors should also note that the Tet Holiday, or Vietnamese New Year, typically falls in January or February and can bring about a vibrant festive atmosphere but also larger crowds and busier streets.
