Langkawi is an archipelago made up of 99 islands on Malaysia's west coast. Surrounded by turquoise sea, the interior of the main island is a mixture of picturesque paddy fields and jungle-clad hills. Eagle Square, known locally as Dataran Lang, is one of its best-known man-made attractions located in the Kuah area, which is the main town of Langkawi.
Langkawi International Airport (LGK) is the point of entry by air, with direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, and other regional airports. Upon arrival at the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to reach Eagle Square. The distance is approximately 20km and the drive typically takes around 30 minutes.

If you are traveling from within Malaysia, you can drive to Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah and park your vehicle at the ferry terminal before taking a ferry to Langkawi. Another option is to drive to Penang and take the ferry from there.
To navigate around Langkawi, you can utilize taxis, which operate with fixed fares, or rent a vehicle for greater flexibility and freedom. Car, motorbike, and bicycle rentals are widely available. Given that Eagle Square is located near the island's main town, it is also easily reachable by local bus services, which are a cost-effective option for travelers.
