The Langkawi Cable Car, also known as the SkyCab, is one of the major attractions on the island of Langkawi in Kedah, Malaysia. It provides an aerial link from the Oriental Village at Teluk Burau to the peak of Gunung Machinchang, which is also the location of the famous SkyBridge. The cable car journey offers an astonishing 360-degree view of the archipelago, the turquoise waters, and some parts of Thailand on a clear day. The ride covers a distance of approximately 2.2 kilometers and glides above lush forests, offering glimpses of cascading waterfalls and diverse flora and fauna. At the summit, visitors can explore the SkyBridge and observation decks that offer panoramic vistas of Langkawi's stunning landscape and geological formations. The facilities at the top include eateries, souvenir shops, and viewing platforms. A visit to the Langkawi Cable Car is more than just a ride; it's an experience that combines adventure, nature, and breathtaking scenery, making it an unforgettable part of any trip to Langkawi.
It was a nice experience. The ride was free theres no long queue. Enjoy watching the fountain show from the skycable ride.
