Garga Dam Tourism

Garga Dam is an artificial reservoir located in Bokaro Steel City in the state of Jharkhand, India. This dam was specifically built on the Garga River to store water for the use of Bokaro Steel Plant, the first swadeshi steel plant in India, which was built with Soviet help. Over time, Garga Dam has not only served its primary purpose but has also become a popular spot for picnic and leisure activities among locals and tourists alike.
