Parasnath Hills, located in the Giridih district of Jharkhand, India, are a range of hills that are considered to be one of the most sacred and revered pilgrimage sites for followers of Jainism. The hills rise to a height of over 4,480 feet above sea level and are named after the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha. The area is known for its rich biodiversity and the temperate climate it enjoys due to its elevation. The Parasnath Hills are the home to the famous Shikharji Temple, a complex of Jain temples situated at the hill's summit, which is believed to be the place where twenty of the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras attained Moksha, making it an important spiritual destination. The landscape includes lush green forests, hosting numerous pilgrims and tourists who trek up to the summit. The pilgrimage up Parasnath Hill is known as “Shikharji Yatra” and is done on foot, with many routes for pilgrims to take, the most popular being from the town of Madhuban.

There is a long walkway and this path passes through the forest.
This place is very nice and people come here from far and wide to see it is a Jain temple. And the view here is very beautiful, after coming here, the mind gets a rest.
