Parasnath Trekk
Well the area is very serene and meditative , no doubt. It's pretty much meant for pilgrimage and not sight seeing as a result we felt the disdain shown towards us being non-Jain . That 'holier than thou' aura. It was really hurting in a way as if people are xenophobic , despite of being from the same country . Food was terrible , failed to maintain the vegetarian standards . Rooms were clean , cheap and comfy . Biggest takeaway from the trip was the trekking and the tea we had there . Biggest let-down were the people , saddening because we were couth and cordial in every way possible

Hidden gem in Jharkhand
This is spritual place for Jains, 22 out of 24 tirthankar attained moksha here . Total trek is of 27 km , 9 km uphill 9 km downhill and 9 km visiting all the temples on top of mountain, You can skip some of the temples then trek on top of hill becomes 3km so total trek distance is 21 km. We finished entire trek in 12 hours. Started at 5 am and got down at 5pm. This is a extensive trek experience, before visiting to this place I had read a lot about it and according we did our prepration. We had a support stick for all of us. We slept early on previous day so we can get up early. Entire trek has stairs but its surrounded by forest, it was completely different experience once you reach on the top. Entire panaroma view is worth it but it doesn't stop there, once you reach on the top and have a glance on how far the temples are, its unbelievable that we will be able to complete it but we managed to complete almost all except 2 temple. While coming back legs were shivering a bit but overall it was very different experience. PS: 1Orange works as very good hydration support. Whenever you are tired just have one slice. 2 In very unfavorable situation you can also hire people to carry you around . 3 wear clothes with layering as in the morning it might be cold but in the afternoon it will get hot ( if you are traveling during winter) Jai Jinendra

Parasnath Hills , Giridih district of Jharkhand
Parasnath Hills are a range of hills located in Giridih district of Jharkhand. The highest peak is 1350 metres. There is a beautiful Jain temple on the top of this hill for 3 km, where the view is very beautiful. They call it Sammed Sikhar.You can go with your family and friends for picnic and party and for worship it is a religious place many people go with their family for worshiping good .

There is a long walkway and this path passes through the forest.
This place is very nice and people come here from far and wide to see it is a Jain temple. And the view here is very beautiful, after coming here, the mind gets a rest.
