Guangzhou Opera House is one of China's most striking architectural masterpieces, located in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province. Designed by the renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, the building features a contemporary design that is said to mimic the rolling landscape of the Pearl River. It opened to the public in May 2010 and has since been an iconic venue for the performing arts in China. Its unique structure consists of two main buildings that are joined by a glass-clad steel frame, covering over 70,000 square meters. The larger building houses the main theater with a capacity of 1,800 seats, while the smaller one contains a multifunction hall with 400 seats. The design reflects the fluidity of the surrounding river landscape, and its interior is equally impressive, with state-of-the-art acoustics and stage technology. Guangzhou Opera House is not just a cultural landmark but also a destination for tourists, who marvel at its futuristic design and the harmonious blend of architecture with the natural elements.
Nice architect as known designer is Zaha Hadid. It's good place to view the culture and building design. Nearby the canton tower and transfer to the APM line, for the nearest place of opera house also..
Located in downtown, very near to the Canton Tower. It has an interesting architecture, shaped almost like the Esplanade theater in Singapore. A place for the arts and culture.

Ok
Interesting design. Looks much better from the outside than in. Managed to catch the blue man group performance there. Staff there helpful with the purchase of tickets. Very limited selection for eati..
