Best Time To Visit Han Market (Da Nang) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Han Market in Da Nang, Vietnam

The ideal time to visit Han Market in Da Nang is during the dry season, which spans from late January to August. During this period, the weather is predominantly sunny with blue skies, offering a pleasant shopping experience. You can stroll comfortably through the numerous stalls without the hassle of unexpected rain showers, which can be quite frequent during the wet season. The temperatures around this time are warm, ranging from 20°C to 33°C (68°F to 91°F), with the coolest months being January and February. It is also worth considering that the peak tourist season is from June to August, so visiting either at the start or the tail end of this time frame could mean fewer crowds and a more relaxed experience.

Visiting in the mornings, right after the market opens at 6 AM, is an excellent way to capture the daily buzz and avoid the midday heat. Moreover, the Lunar New Year, or Tet holiday, which usually falls between late January and mid-February, can be a compelling time to experience the market at its most vibrant. Festive decorations and unique seasonal items are on display, adding to the cultural richness of the market. However, it's important to note that while the festival atmosphere is compelling, some stalls may close as vendors take time off to celebrate with their families. Thus, if your travel plans include Han Market during Tet, it's prudent to check the market's operational days and adjust your schedule accordingly.
