Jarain Pitcher Plant Lake, situated near Jowai in the West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya, India, is a unique ecological destination that fascinates botanists and travelers alike. The lake is named after the Nepenthes khasiana, a rare carnivorous pitcher plant endemic to Meghalaya.
