Regal ghat
The Khasi and East Jainti era kings used to dominate over the ownership of the Ghat, as was evident from the inscriptions on the ghat and steps of the lake, which I noticed during my visit.

Ancient bathing ghats
This place was used in the ancient times by the royal family. One gets to see nice art of the ancient Jaintia kingdom in form of sculptures.
