Best Time To Visit Koh Bida Nok & Nai (Phi Phi Islands) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Koh Bida Nok & Nai, Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

The ideal period to visit Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai in the Phi Phi Islands is during the dry season, which spans from November to April. This time of year is characterized by clear blue skies, calmer seas, and more predictable weather, making it perfect for snorkeling and diving activities. With an average water temperature ranging from 28 to 30°C (82 to 86°F), visibility underwater can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet), allowing visitors to clearly observe the stunning coral reefs and diverse marine life. The islands are also less crowded during this season, ensuring a more peaceful and personal experience with nature.

On the other hand, the months from May to October are considered the monsoon season in this region. This season brings heavier rains, rougher seas, and stronger winds, which can affect boat travel and water activities. Divers and snorkelers may find this period less appealing as visibility decreases, and some dive sites might be inaccessible due to safety concerns. However, for those who don't mind the occasional rainfall and are looking for a less touristy experience, visiting during the monsoon season can offer the benefits of lower prices and fewer crowds. Ultimately, for the best weather and conditions, targeting your visit between November and April ensures a more enjoyable and comfortable trip to the Koh Bida islands.
