Beautiful. A must visit in monsoons.
Away from the hullabaloo of Sohra tourists, the fall with its many layers is beautiful and picturesque. The road leading there, needed some repair but view Enroute is good too. If you have spare time, then certainly a must visit.

Very beautiful falls…
Kynrem waterfalls is a bit away from the main town but it’s worth a visit. There is a big waterfall and then several smaller waterfalls around it. It is present right on the road and you can experience it very up close and personal just after getting down from your car. It is something you should experience.

Only Fall for which we did not walk at all. It was right at the Roadside. Spent a lot of time there. Went down and clicked photos.

Amazing views of the falls and Bangladesh
Meghalaya has so many waterfalls – large and small – I lost count during my visit. For every famous and named waterfall there must be at least 10 smaller ones only the locals have named. Being a very wet state, meaning low clouds washing over the landscape much of the year, it is not at all certain you will see the entire waterfall. You might see one, but the next one might be lost in the clouds. Weather changes quickly here, and is very localized, but this one I enjoyed in its entirety and even without a drop of rain. This waterfall has beautiful features and is facing Bangladesh and I had an amazing view of the Bangladesh plains, as the clouds were high and few during my visit Getting a photograph of the entire waterfall is not possible from where the road crosses the river as it is simply too close, so you will look straight up and get a lot of bright sky in the image, but it is a great spot to have a close encounter with the water. The more adventurous will likely want to climb up the sheer cliff to read the pool further up, but I did not try this. My best vantage point is from the road further up where this image is taken. Furthermore this was visited by very few compared to the best known waterfalls, which in my view made it a much more serene experience.

Oh my goodness what a waterfall.
This waterfall is awe-inspiring. During heavy rains you cannot imagine how specaular it looks with huge volume of water cascading down the jagged rock face. We had an amazing time there... and we actually managed to hitchhike to this place, the person who gave us a lift turned out to be with a local landscape photographer who comes to the fall often and so natuarlly we had such a good time clicking amazing photographs of the fall from every angle possible. You can actually go very close to the fall and if you dare, can swim in the water pool right below the cascade. You can also get an amazing view of this waterfal from the Eco-Park and a good view of the Bangladesh plains can be had from the park too.
