Best Time to Visit Kynrem Falls, Cherrapunji

Located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth, Kynrem Falls is a stunning three-tiered waterfall that offers spectacular views, especially during the monsoon season. The best time to visit Kynrem Falls is between the months of June and September, when the rain is plentiful, and the falls are at their most vigorous and majestic. During this period, the abundant rainfall supplied by the monsoon transforms the waterfall into a powerful and mesmerizing cascade, drawing visitors and nature enthusiasts from all over the world. The lush greenery surrounding the waterfall is also in full bloom, adding to the serene and pristine beauty of the region.

For those who prefer a more tranquil visit with fewer tourists and relatively good weather, the months immediately after the monsoon, October and November, might be ideal. Although the waterfall might not be as forceful as in the monsoon season, it will still have a good flow, and the surrounding landscapes will remain verdant and picturesque. Visitors during this time can enjoy the natural beauty with more peace and fewer chances of rain interruptions. However, it is essential to note that the water flow will gradually decrease as the dry season approaches, so planning your trip earlier in this period is advisable for the best experience.
