Lingmala Waterfall, located near Mahabaleshwar, is a picturesque natural attraction in the Western Ghats range of Maharashtra, India. The waterfall can be found on the Mahabaleshwar-Pune Road, just around 6 kilometers away from Mahabaleshwar Bus Stand. It lies at the top of the Venna Valley, surrounded by lush greenery and dense forests, offering stunning views that are a feast for the eyes. The cascading falls drop from a height of approximately 600 feet, creating a breathtaking scene, especially during the monsoon season when the water plunges with full force. There is a well-marked trail leading tourists to the waterfall, which involves a short hike. Along this walk, visitors are engulfed by the sounds of the waterfall and the chirping of birds, making it a serene experience. Apart from the main waterfall, there is also a smaller waterfall downstream, which is suitable for safe swimming and playing in the water. The area around Lingmala Waterfall is also popular for trekking and bird-watching.
