Lotte World is a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea. It consists of the world's largest indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park called 'Magic Island,' shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theaters. Opened on July 12, 1989, Lotte World receives over 8 million visitors each year and is considered a top family attraction in Seoul. The indoor park, 'Adventure,' is themed with a whimsical style, filled with rides, parades, a skating rink, and various attractions that are suitable for all ages. 'Magic Island,' the outdoor park located on an island amidst a lake, offers thrilling rides and a fairy-tale atmosphere. Notable attractions include the high-altitude free fall ride, the Gyro Drop, and the Gyro Swing. Beyond the entertainment facilities, the complex's mall provides an extensive shopping experience and an array of culinary delights. The Lotte World Tower, the world's fifth tallest building, is adjacent to the complex, offering panoramic views of Seoul from its observation deck, Seoul Sky.
