By Air

The nearest airport to Kampong Cham is the Phnom Penh International Airport. Visitors can take a flight to Phnom Penh and then choose from the following ground transportation options:

  • Taxi – You can hire a private taxi that will take you directly to the dolphin site. The trip takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.
  • Bus or Minivan – There are regular buses and minivans that travel from Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham town. Once in town, hire a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi to reach the dolphin site.

By Bus

There are several bus companies operating between various cities of Cambodia and Kampong Cham. Bus travel is affordable and comfortable. Tickets can be purchased at the bus station or booked online in advance.

By Private Car or Motorbike
