Minicoy Lighthouse Tourism

Minicoy Lighthouse is an iconic lighthouse situated on Minicoy Island, which is the southernmost island of the Lakshadweep archipelago off the coast of India. The lighthouse, built by the British in 1885, is one of the oldest lighthouses in Lakshadweep and stands at a height of approximately 49 meters (160 feet). It offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and the island's sparkling white sandy beaches. Minicoy Island is known for its vibrant culture, which is distinct from the other islands in Lakshadweep, exhibiting influences from Maldivian culture.
