Best Time To Visit Na Muang Waterfalls (Koh Samui) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Na Muang Waterfalls, Koh Samui

The best time to visit Na Muang Waterfalls on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand is during the dry season, which generally spans from December to February. During these months, the weather is at its most pleasant with warm temperatures averaging between 27°C to 29°C (80°F to 84°F) and a minimal chance of rain. This ensures that the paths leading to the waterfalls are less slippery and more accessible. Moreover, despite it being peak tourist season, the crowds at Na Muang Waterfalls tend to be moderate, allowing for a tranquil experience amidst nature. It is important to note, however, that even during dry season, the water flow might be less spectacular as compared to the rainy season.

Alternatively, for those who wish to see Na Muang Waterfalls in its full glory, with powerful cascades and lush surroundings, visiting during the rainy season, which typically runs from September to November, might be a better option. The rainfall replenishes the falls and river, providing a more dramatic spectacle, but the increased moisture does come with some challenges. The trek to the falls can be more difficult due to the muddy and slippery conditions, and there is also a higher risk of sudden heavy showers. It is recommended to come prepared with sturdy footwear and waterproof gear if visiting during this time. Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance to avoid any potential storms or extreme weather conditions.
