New Green Vault (Neues Grünes Gewölbe) is one of the most renowned treasure chambers in Europe, located in Dresden, the capital city of the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is situated within Dresden Castle (Dresdner Residenzschloss), in the historical center of Dresden. This museum contains a wealth of baroque to classical precious artifacts made of gold, silver, gemstones, ivory, and other precious materials. The Green Vault was established by Augustus the Strong of Saxony in the 18th century and comprises two sections, the Historic Green Vault and the New Green Vault.
