Nuranang Waterfall, also known as Bong Bong Falls, is a stunning cascade located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The waterfall is about 100 meters high and is nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Eastern Himalayas. The origins of the waterfall lie in the northern slopes of the Sela Pass, and it feeds the Tawang River downstream. The region around Nuranang is a spectacular display of nature's beauty, offering a tranquil and refreshing environment. The fall is famously known for its pristine beauty and is a popular spot for picnics and day trips. The Nuranang Waterfalls play a significant role in generating hydroelectricity for the local area. The fall gets its name from the Nuranang River, which originates from the Sela Pass. According to local legends, the waterfall was discovered during the 1962 Sino-Indian War by Indian soldiers. The place is still relatively unexplored by tourists, making it an ideal destination for travelers seeking solitude and a connection with nature.

Magnificent Falls
Noora was a local girl who actively helped the Indian Army in the 1962 war, losing her life in the process. The falls were named after her in her memory. They are about 100 metres high .
