Old Baba Mandir is located near Zuluk in the Eastern Himalayan state of Sikkim, India. It is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near Nathula Pass. According to folklore, Baba Harbhajan Singh's spirit protects the soldiers in the inhospitable high-altitude region of the Himalayas. The original site of the Baba Mandir is known as the 'Old Baba Mandir'. The old mandir is less accessible than the newer one and requires a journey through rugged terrain with breathtaking views. The shrine is situated at an elevation of around 13,123 feet and is surrounded by majestic mountains and serene landscapes. It has become a site of pilgrimage for tourists and military personnel alike. Visitors come to pay their respects and to experience the unique spiritual ambiance of the place. The temple consists of a simple structure housing a photograph of Baba Harbhajan Singh, with offerings by visitors and army officials. The belief in Baba's presence is so strong that a seat is left vacant for him during official functions, and he even has a dedicated room in the bunkers.
