Pillar Rocks are a set of three giant rock pillars that stand at a height of approximately 400 feet, located in the splendid hill station of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India. These pillars have become a famous tourist attraction due to their unique shape and the breathtaking panoramic views they offer of the surrounding dense forests and valleys. The Pillar Rocks viewpoint is managed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. The well-maintained gardens around the area make it a perfect spot for picnics and leisurely walks. There is a mini garden alongside the viewpoint that adds to the charm of the spot. The Pillar Rocks area is also enveloped in the 'kurinji' flowers, which bloom once every 12 years, giving the rocks an ethereal and colorful backdrop. Visitors can enjoy the cool mountain breeze and the tranquil ambiance that the location offers, which makes it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the best attractions provided you get clear visibility

I really enjoyed this point the most amongst all points in the valley view trip package. Clouds flying right through the tall standing rocks is an awesome view.

Surreal

The viewpoint looks lovingly lifted straight out of a painting. Entrance fee is cheap and it is easily reachable by car, so I'd say it is definitely a must do in Kodaikanal!
