By Air:
Travelers can fly into Mandalay International Airport, which is the closest major airport to Pyin Oo Lwin. From the airport, you have the following options:
- Car Rental: Rent a car and drive approximately 80 kilometers east to Pyin Oo Lwin. The drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Taxi: Hire a taxi directly to Pwe Kauk Falls. It's advisable to negotiate the price beforehand.
By Train:
- Catch a train from Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin. The journey offers a chance to see the scenic countryside and experience the local way of travel. Upon arrival, take a local taxi or rent a motorbike to reach the falls, which is about 8 kilometers from the town.
By Bus:
- Regular buses and minibuses run from Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin. The bus trip can take around 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. From the bus station in Pyin Oo Lwin, hire a motorbike taxi or taxi to get to the falls.
