Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal and Green Garden Tourism

The Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal and Green Garden, located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a memorial and cultural park dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment and political struggles of Dalits and their iconic leaders. Spread over 82.5 acres, the monument complex stands by the Yamuna River, symbolizing the merging of architectural grandeur with lush greenery. Conceptualized by the then Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, the park was inaugurated on October 14, 2011. It celebrates the lives and achievements of notable Dalit icons like B.R. Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram, and other social reformers. Visitors are greeted by a row of elephant statues, which are significant to Dalit symbolism. The architecture is a fusion of modern and traditional styles, with stonework and landscaped gardens designed to induce reflection and admiration. The park's central feature is a grand dome, under which statues of Dalit leaders stand tall. The Green Garden portion is a meticulously maintained leisure space, providing a serene escape from the urban hustle of Noida.
