Accessing Ryuzu Falls

By Public Transportation

From Tokyo:

  • Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya Station.
  • Switch to the JR Nikko Line and get off at Nikko Station.
  • At Nikko Station, transfer to a Tobu bus bound for Yumoto Onsen.
  • Alight at the "Ryuzu-no-taki" bus stop which is right by Ryuzu Falls.

By Car:

  • From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway to Utsunomiya.
  • Then switch to the Nikko Utsunomiya Road and follow the signs to Nikko.
  • Once in Nikko, follow Route 120 towards Lake Chuzenji and Yumoto Onsen.
  • Ryuzu Falls is located along this route, with parking available nearby.
