Senado Square, or Largo do Senado, is a public square in Macao, China, and is part of the UNESCO Historic Centre of Macao World Heritage Site. Spanning an area of 3,700 square meters, this triangular-shaped town square connects Largo de São Domingos at one end and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro on the other. Senado Square has been Macao’s urban centre for centuries and is renowned for its distinctive Portuguese tiled pavement, which is designed in a wave-pattern mosaic of colored stones. The square is surrounded by pastel-colored neo-classical buildings, creating a Mediterranean atmosphere. Key landmarks around the square include the Holy House of Mercy, the St. Dominic's Church, and the Leal Senado Building. The area is also a bustling shopping and dining hub, attracting tourists and locals alike.
