The term 'Shaat Matha' refers to 'seven-headed,' symbolizing the seven aspects of the deity Shiva according to Hindu mythology. The temple architecture showcases typical South Asian religious art, with intricate designs and carvings adorning the walls and the seven peaks. Devotees visit this temple to perform puja and participate in the various religious festivals that are held throughout the year, with Maha Shivratri being one of the most significant festivities marked with great enthusiasm.
