Shahpurkandi Fort Tourism

Shahpurkandi Fort is situated in the picturesque location near the River Ravi, at Shahpurkandi township of Pathankot district in Punjab, India. Constructed in 1505 by a Rajput chieftain named Suraj Mal in the time of Emperor Akbar, this ancient fort resonates with historical significance and architectural splendor. Over the centuries, it has been witness to various power struggles and has exchanged hands between Rajput rulers and later the Sikhs under Maharaja Ranjit Singh's reign.
