Sringeri Mutt, officially known as Sringeri Sharada Peetham, is a renowned spiritual center in Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka, India. Established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century CE, it is one of the four major Advaita Vedanta mathas. The mutt is located on the banks of the Tunga River and is dedicated to Goddess Sharadamba, the embodiment of wisdom and learning.
