Best Time to Visit Strawberry Farm in Bagio, Philippines

The ideal period to visit the Strawberry Farm in Baguio, located in the La Trinidad valley, is between the months of November and May. This timeframe aligns with the dry season in the Philippines, ensuring a more pleasant experience as you indulge in strawberry picking under the sun. The cooler climate of Baguio during these months, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 26°C, makes for a comfortable outdoor activity. Moreover, the farm's peak harvesting season is from December to April, guaranteeing the freshest and most abundant strawberry produce. Tourists can enjoy the unique experience of handpicking strawberries straight from the vine while relishing the panoramic views of lush greenery and the Cordillera mountains.

If you're planning your visit to coincide with local celebrations, consider scheduling it during the La Trinidad Strawberry Festival which occurs in March. This festival showcases the region's rich culture and the local strawberry industry with a variety of events such as parades, cultural shows, and agricultural trade fairs. Visiting during this time not only allows you the best of the harvest but also offers a chance to engage with the community and participate in festivities that highlight the unique heritage and traditions of Baguio and La Trinidad. Nevertheless, strawberry picking activities tend to attract many visitors, so for a more tranquil visit, consider stopping by on weekdays rather than weekends to avoid the crowds.
