Best Time To Visit Surya Sen Park (Siliguri) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Surya Sen Park, Siliguri

The ideal time to visit Surya Sen Park in Siliguri, West Bengal, is during the cooler months from October to April. This period usually offers comfortable weather, avoiding the sweltering heat and humidity prevalent during the summer months. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor activities and attractions within the park without being exhausted by the heat. Winters, from December to February, offer a delightful climate for park-goers, with daytime temperatures that are pleasant for picnics, walks, and leisure activities within the expansive green space.

Moreover, the monsoon season, which typically runs from June to September, is less recommended for a visit due to heavy rainfall that can disrupt outdoor activities and cause water-logging in some areas. The park bursts into life with lush greenery post-monsoon, but the unpredictable rains can limit your experience. Therefore, the autumn-winter period stands out as the most favorable time when you can witness the park in its full splendor, attend various cultural events that might be organized in Siliguri during these months, and make the most of your visit.
