Getting to Wat Plai Laem

By Air

The nearest airport to Wat Plai Laem is Samui International Airport (USM). Upon landing, you can take a taxi or a minivan service to reach the temple, which is approximately 6 km away. The journey should take around 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.

By Road

Car Rental: Renting a car is a convenient way to explore Koh Samui and visit Wat Plai Laem. Car rental services are available at the airport, and around the island.

Taxi: Taxis are readily available throughout Koh Samui. It's advisable to agree on the fare before starting your journey or insist on using the meter.

Songthaew: A cheaper alternative to taxis, these are shared pick-up trucks with benches. They run fixed routes but can be hailed down for a trip to Wat Plai Laem.

By Sea

Koh Samui is accessible by ferry from mainland Surat Thani. Ferries arrive at either Nathon Pier, Lipa Noi Pier, or Maenam Pier. From there, you can hire a taxi or a songthaew to reach Wat Plai Laem.
