How To Reach Yangshuo

By Air

The nearest airport to Yangshuo is the Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL). Upon landing, travelers can take a taxi, bus, or airport shuttle to reach Yangshuo.

• Airport Shuttle: The airport shuttle can take you directly to Yangshuo. The journey usually takes about 1.5 hours.
• Taxi: Taxis are available but will be more expensive than the shuttle service.
• Private Transfer: For convenience, some may opt for a private transfer service which can be booked in advance.

By Train

Guilin has three main train stations: Guilin Railway Station, Guilin North Railway Station, and Guilin West Railway Station. High-speed trains from major cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen are available. After arriving in Guilin you can transfer to a bus to go to Yangshuo.

Alternatively, you can take a train directly to the Yangshuo Railway Station. From the station, you can get a taxi or local bus to the downtown area.

By Bus

Regular bus services are available from Guilin to Yangshuo. Buses depart from Guilin's various bus stations, such as Guilin Bus Station and Guilin South Railway Station. The bus ride usually takes about 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

By Car

If you prefer traveling by car, the drive from Guilin to Yangshuo is scenic and straightforward. It takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by car. Car rentals and private taxis are available; however, ensure you have the appropriate documentation if you plan to drive yourself.
